Have I said that I LOVE surprises!!!!!??????

My Secret Pal is the BEST!! She sent me a package that I received today!! I can't wait to stick my nose in my new Freeform knitting book! Thank you! And suck on my Tangerine Altoids! Thank you! And knit some orange and purple freeform shapes with the cool yarn she sent! Thank You! Knit something where I need markers to mark my place with my super adorable stitch markers! Thank you! And find time to do some scrapbooking with my new die cuts! Thank you! How did she know I love Porsches? And I know the perfect place to keep my knit patterns. My new file box! Thank you!

Painting and Knitting and Painting and Knitting...

So we are still painting the interior of our house. I admit that I feel slightly overwhelmed. Our 8x10feet storage is full and I still have a whole rooms worth of boxes that need storage space. How did we fit all that 'stuff' in our 1000sq. ft house????!!!!
The house we will be buying will be great. It's still in our neighborhood we love, and has an extra bed and bath. And the most important to us is where my MIL grew up. Our grandma's house!!
So hopefully our Charming 50's Starter will sell fast so we can move. I have been thinking what I'll miss most from my first 'home'.
definitely my Wedgewood Gas Stove is what I'll miss most. How does one cook on electric??
The originality of everything. It's like stepping back to the 50's in my house. There are only two electrical sockets in each room, the ironing board folds out of the wall in the kitchen, the house is made of stucco and redwood, original pink and maroon tile in the only bathroom. Original stained cast iron sink in the kitchen. Some say the first home you own is the hardest to let go. And I agree with that!!
Anyways, on to more packing.

Only 5 Weeks 'til DISNEYLAND!!!

Wow, time flies....5 weeks. We'll be staying at the Grand Californian this trip. It should be lots of fun!! My parents will be coming along this trip. My mom will be able to ride lots of rides. She has done awesome losing weight and she'll be borrowing my clothes soon!
I'm anxiously awaiting to ride Space Mountain. It has gotten a makeover that has seemed like forever to be completed! The last 4 years it was still not operating. Also I'll try to get everyone to ride Tower of Terror with me. It was scary but sooooo much fun last year when I went. It's like no ride I've ever been on!
The fireworks at night are awesome also. They seem to get better and better each year. 'They' claim that this year will be the best ever!! Yeah!! Almost can't wait!
There still is lots happening on the homefront. We're getting ready to move and holidays coming soon. Anyways, I'm going to close for now. It's been a long day.
